Have you noticed that be it sports, entertainment or politics (probably to a lesser extent in politics), the questions asked by the media sound the same, and in most cases repeated? And this has been going on for a while now and the person being interviewed gives the same clichéd answers?

I think it would be a good idea to come up with a reality show where the TV channel picks a celebrity (for lack of a better word) a week and invites viewers to mail them a bunch of questions they would like to ask the celebrity. The person with the most interesting set of questions gets to interview the celebrity on the next show.

But the one loop hole with this program would come in from who makes the selections. If it’s the same bunch of journalists, you already know what the questions are.

But I still think this would make for an interesting show.

methinks that the aam junta shall too come up with the very same cliched questions…and even if they did come up with something more innovative…do ya think the “celebrities” would care to answer them?

i think we underestimate our aam janta, they are a lot smarter than they usually get credit for … and i still think this should be a good idea …

Ya. I guess that would atleast reveal some new words used in politics. and some new ideas. And I guess these new stuff would be enough to start new cold fights… and some newness in the news channels and the news and the attitudes…. :|

One… do u think those jurnos..wud let the good qs pass as someone else’s. two people like you and i will ask specifc q’s and not some vague loose ball q that the celeb can ans in an equal round about way. and i think media sucks …esp after Aish’s vermillion tika story becomes healines in TOI.

the celebs giving honest answers is totally upto them .. but i am sure we will definitely see some interesting questions there ..
